WME is produced on Apple Macintosh computers. Preferred formats for advertising artwork materials: 1. Hi-Resolution PDF A Hi-Res, CMYK file at 100% can be supplied for all size ads. Exact Postscript settings Postscript Level: Level 1 Data Format: Binary Font Inclusion: All Registration: Centered, Bleed of 5mm and Offset 18pt Paper width: 240mm (for full page ads) Paper height: 327mm (for full page ads) Resolution: 2400dpi Frequency: 175lpi 2. Adobe Photoshop (CS3 or less) Ensure files are saved as .jpeg or .tiff files in RGB mode (to minimise file size). Resolution for all graphics/images should be 300dpi at 100%. If graphics or images are to be scanned please supply original colour or B&W photographs, transparencies (positives) or negatives. 3. InDesign (CS3 or less) All colours created in InDesign, as well as images and graphics must be supplied in CMYK format. Resolution: 300dpi at 100%. All screen and printer fonts must be supplied (postscript - NO true type fonts). 4. Adobe Illustrator (CS3 or less) Files to be saved as .eps in CMYK mode. All fonts must be converted to outlines. NOTE: WORD AND POWERPOINT FILES NOT ACCEPTED AS FINAL ARTWORK These file formats will be used as a layout guide only. All graphic and text elements should be supplied separately (text as word files and photos/logos as either .jpeg or .eps files) The ad will then be recreated by us for client approval.
